I’m not quite dead yet!

life’s thrown me a few curve balls recently and it’s left me quite busy. I haven’t been able to pick up a camera and shoot anything worthwhile in quite some time.

here are a couple random images I shot of a friend while showing him how to use his new camera and a couple random shots of ava….

Recent inactivity…

I haven’t posted in a while, let alone made a photo update…this should hopefully be fixed soon. reasons for the lack of activity include such things as a tight budget and random schedule as well as some seasonal illness. I’m working on clearing everything up soon and getting back to the regularly scheduled programming.

Until then please feel free to review my older posts and photos and leave me comments, corrections, criticism or anything else you feel obligated to leave. And since you’re here, please take the time to fill out a poll so i have plenty of ideas for when I get back to work.

New camera…

Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been rather busy doing things other than taking photos. I do have some exciting news though, kind of…haha

A friend of mine is moving out of state and is trying to sell or pawn off a few things to lighten the load and was kind enough to give me his old pentax and lens collection. As always, I’m excited for a nice 35mm camera, just not so excited about the cost of film. >.< oh well, I’ll figure something out.

Hopefully I’ll have some new updates soon with some new photos and the likes.

I’ve had yet ANOTHER adventure in ann arbor. This time I met up with Meeshi and we went and kidnapped a friend of mine to use in some photos. We stopped first at one of the library branches and got some pretty nifty shots and then headed towards downtown to visit the spinning cube that will from now on me called the zombie cube because when it spins it sounds like there’s a very angry zombie inside. As we were shooting the zombie cube we heard huge shouts and screams and car horns blaring over a marching band. We headed in the direction of the sound and stumbled upon a huge crown of Obama supporters partying after the win. We snagged some shots and marveled at the chants and songs they sang and wondered if we missed the memo on the words cause they were tight!

anyhow, on to the photos!

business cards….

I ordered some business cards for Meeshi and myself and they’ve shipped! ^_^

for those of you who I won’t be seeing in person feel free to take advantage of my “online version”  also, ignore the incorrect spelling of Shutter, it was 6am when I made the rough draft, I hadn’t slept yet and was going a bit cross eyed from being on the computer for so long…it’s fixed on the real cards and the weird dotted border isn’t there either, trust me…>.<

Went to the Zombie walk last night with Meeshi. it was kind of a bleary night, not the best for taking photos with all the wind and rain, and aside from all that, those zombies move pretty darn fast for the undead!

Eventually we corralled them all into nickles arcade and swooped in and out of the crowd as they grabbed and moaned at us. I managed to snap a shot of a mob of them fighting with each other and snapped another just as one of them was coming at me.  It’s funny, I always thought that I’d be running from the zombies and not with them, huh, go figure. either way here are a few.
